Respite Services

The services provided by Crossroads Care Staffordshire are about giving carers time for themselves. Time to go shopping, to the gym, meet friends or just have a well earned rest.

We offer practical support allowing the carer to have time to themselves, by supplying a trained Carer Support Worker to carry out the duties of the carer in your home. We provide support for carers of all ages who are caring for people with any illness or disability including: Adults with physical disabilities, mental health problems, dementia, children with physical or learning disabilities.

Crossroads Care Staffordshire operates via a referral system. We obtain referrals from carers, families, health professionals, Social Services and other sources.
We understand that it can feel intrusive having someone come into your home so we aim to address and expel any anxieties you may have from the start.
Once we receive a referral, a senior member of staff will arrange a visit to discuss the appropriate services available for your specific situation.
We will work with the carer and the person they care for to put together a care plan detailing the care needed and how it will be delivered.
